In the last one day international against South Africa power hitter Chris lynn came out to open the innings along with captain Aaron finch this was a surprise move from the Australian team as in the first two ODI’s Travis head came out to open the innings with Aaron Finch.

Although the move failed miserably as Chris lynn got out on his first ball that he faced from Dale Steyn but the Australian captain Aaron Finch has defended the team decision to open the batting with Chris Lynn by saying that they are looking to use lynn as an opener on a long-term basis as as they need someone who can go after the bowling in the first 10 overs and can provide a quick start to the innings and everyone know that if lynn gets going he can and win you matches on his own and we see him as a long-term prospect in the opening slot.

So Far lynn has played four ODI matches apart from the 44 runs that he got against South Africa in the 2nd ODI he has struggled in the other three matches.

One of the most popular players in the leagues around the world he would be looking to make the same type of impact in international cricket as well.
