No Yuzvendra Chahal What Is Team Management Thinking???
Indian team lost the first T20 International against Australia in Australia at Gabba (Brisbane) by 4 runs.
Chasing 174 runs in 17 hours team India fall short by 4 runs the credit of the defeat goes to the bad selection made by team India before the game even started the Indian team management decided to go into the match with Krunal Pandya instead of Yuzvendra Chahal as the second spinner and the result is in front of everyone Krunal Pandya was smashed for 55 runs in his 4 overs and his batting for which he was picked ahead of Yuzvendra Chahal proved to be a failure as he could not handle the pace and bounce of the Australians bowlers.
Yuzvendra Chahal was India’s highest ranked T20 international bowler after jasprit bumrah despite this he was warming the bench in the first T20 International where IPL star Kunal Pandya was playing the game without any International proven performance.
The Indian team management has to understand that scoring runs and taking wickets in an IPL game is completely different to scoring runs and taking wickets in an international game if IPL was of International standard then KL Rahul and Rishabh pant would have been the best Indian batsman.
Glenn Maxwell keep smashing Kunal Pandya for sixes and he continued to bowl fast and fast and hence keep going the distance ball after ball.
India is one down in the series and if they want to level the series at Melbourne in the second T20 International then they will have to bring Chahal in the playing 11 in place of either Khaleel Ahmed or Krunal Pandya.
