India Vs West Indies Test Series will commence on 4 October.
India’s left-handed opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan has been left out of Indian test squad for the series against west indies which will commence on 4 October. Shikhar Dhawan Played brilliantly throughout the recently concluded Asia Cup. He was the highest run-getter in the Asia Cup and was also named as the man of the tournament for his brilliant batting but still, he was not selected for the test series against west indies which is right as he had a terrible tour of England. He struggled to score runs against the likes of James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Chris Woakes, Ben Stokes And Sam Curran and never looked comfortable at the crease.
Because of this, he has been dropped for the test series against west indies at home where usually He dominates the opposition bowling. And since he has been dropped for the series against west indies at home chance of him being a part of the test squad for the series against Australia looks bleak. However, the chairman of selectors MSK Prasad Has said that Shikhar Dhawan Can Still Make a comeback in Indian test squad if he is willing to put the hard yards. He also expressed surprise on how Dhawan hasn’t been able to transfer his white-ball excellence in the red-ball.
Shikhar Dhawan had a forgettable outing during the Test series against England where he could only manage to score just 162 runs in 8 innings.
