India’s left handed opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan disappointed all his fans once again as he was dismissed on 6 by Oshane Thomas in the 5th ODI interestingly he was dismissed in the fifth ODI the same way as he was dismissed in the 1st ODI by Same Bowler Oshane Thomas.
Shikhar Dhawan performed poorly throughout the series as he couldn’t even score a 50 in 5 ODI’s although he does got start in three out of the five innings that he played but he couldn’t convert those starts into something big.
In the 5th ODI the team management could have given KL Rahul a chance to play but they decided against it and went with Shikhar Dhawan his poor performances throughout the series will be going to increase the team management concern as he is India’s one of the main batsman in ODI cricket.
Now since the ODI series is completed will KL Rahul get a chance to open with Rohit Sharma in place of Shikhar Dhawan in the 3 T20 International that is yet to be seen.
The Indian team will want him to find his form quickly as he is a brilliant player and a match winner when it comes to Limited overs cricket especially in ODI cricket and his record in ODI cricket cannot be neglected.
