Batting second chasing 284 runs the Indian team doesn’t get a good start as opener Rohit Sharma was dismissed early in the innings by magical delivery from Windies captain Jason Holder, Shikhar Dhawan too continued his struggle against of spinners as he was dismissed second time in three innings by Windies offspinner Ashley Nurse, Ambati Rayudu too couldn’t score much as he bowled by Obed McCoy, Rishabh Pant after getting a start played a poor shot to get out.
For India only Virat Kohli scored substantial runs he scored his third consecutive century in the series but even his hundred wasn’t proved to be enough as India eventually lost the match by 43 runs former Indian captain MS Dhoni continued his poor form with the bat as he was dismissed on 7 runs.
This loss has raised some questions for the Indian team management and the selectors as the Indian middle order doesn’t look capable enough of winning matches on their own.
India’s top 3 is excellent but the middle order needs to be sorted out as it doesn’t provide confidence if India wants to win the World Cup 2019 then they will have to sort the middle order because with this fragile middle order they will not going to win the World Cup.
At the moment Virat Kohli is scoring runs But what will happen when his form dips India have to answer these questions quickly.
