Indian Captain Virat Kohli scored his 24th test hundred against the west indies on day 2 of the first test match at Rajkot. Virat Kohli has been in wonderful form off late and has continued his brilliant form with the bat against the west indies as well. He was in brilliant form with the bat in England and was the lone warrior there. The hundreds that he scored in England he had to work hard for those but against the West Indies, The Indian captain didn’t even break a sweat as he scored a hundred for the 24th time in his Test career.
During England Test Series, Virat Kohli had to come out to bat very early in the innings thanks to the poor batting from the openers and the no.3 batsman. But this time since the test match is in Rajkot the platform was set for Virat Kohli by brilliant batting from young opener Prithvi Shaw And no.3 batsman Cheteshwar Pujara. He comes out to bat when India’s score was 209/2 he continued his good form and never looked in trouble against the weak bowling lineup of West Indies and gets to his hundred as if he was having a net session.
